Wir können die Zeit nicht anhalten. Aber wir können sie festhalten. Ein Jahr. 365 Tage. Genau vor einem Jahr standen Jasmine und Raphael am Ufer des Thunersees in der Schweiz. Sie genossen die kühle Bergluft, das leise Wasser und die verschneiten Alpen im Hintergrund. Und dann, in diesem einen flüchtigen Moment, durchbrach ein Farbfeuerwerk die winterliche Stille. Es war die perfekte Balance aus absoluter Ruhe und explosiver Emotion, gefolgt von einer eleganten Feier im Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel in Interlaken. Janine (@janine_stange) vom Team @sarahlinow , die dieses Wochenende so meisterhaft geplant hat, schrieb heute Morgen dazu: „Manche Hochzeiten bleiben nicht nur in Erinnerung – sie hinterlassen ein Gefühl. Romantisch, stilvoll, zeitlos.“ Wenn ich mir diese Bilder heute ansehe, weiß ich genau, was sie meint. Der Tag verfliegt, aber das Gefühl bleibt für die Ewigkeit. Happy 1st Anniversary, J&R. 🏔️🤍 —— We cannot stop time. But we can capture it. One year. 365 days. Exactly one year ago, Jasmine and Raphael stood on the shores of Lake Thun in Switzerland. They enjoyed the cool mountain air, the calm water and the snow-covered Alps in the background. And then, in that one fleeting moment, a burst of colour broke the winter silence. It was the perfect balance of absolute tranquillity and explosive emotion, followed by an elegant celebration at the Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel in Interlaken. Janine, who so masterfully planned this weekend, wrote this morning: ‘Some weddings don’t just stay in your memory – they leave you with a feeling. Romantic, stylish, timeless.’ Looking at these pictures today, I know exactly what she means. The day flies by, but the feeling lasts forever. Happy 1st Anniversary, J&R. 🏔️🤍
Eine Verbindung entsteht nicht über Nacht. Tom, der Vater der @millerfamilyband , kennt mich schon, seit ich ein Kind war. Heute stehe ich hinter der Kamera und gestalte das visuelle Erscheinungsbild seiner Band. Für mich endet die Fotografie nicht mit dem Ja-Wort. Ob Hochzeiten, Familien oder Künstler – es geht immer um dasselbe: die Zeit festzuhalten und den Kern eines Menschen (oder einer Gruppe) sichtbar zu machen. Die Miller Family macht handgemachten Folk-Rock aus Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Echt, geerdet und voller Harmonie. Genau so, wie ich meine Bilder mag. Es ist mir eine Ehre, ihre Alben visuell zu begleiten. Photography is about relationships. —— A connection doesn’t happen overnight. Tom, the father of the Miller Family, has known me since I was a child. Today, I stand behind the camera and design the visual appearance of his band. For me, photography doesn’t end with the ‘I do’. Whether weddings, families or artists – it’s always about the same thing: capturing the moment and revealing the essence of a person (or a group). The Miller Family makes handmade folk rock from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Authentic, grounded and full of harmony. Just the way I like my pictures. It is an honour to accompany their albums visually. Photography is about relationships.
Ich kann die Zeit nicht anhalten. Aber ich kann sie festhalten. Kangaroo Island, Australien. Minuten nach einem heftigen Regenschauer. Die Wolkendecke reißt auf und für einen kurzen Moment baut der Himmel diese Bühne auf. Dann ist das Licht weg. Es sind genau diese Sekunden, die an einem Hochzeitstag so schnell verfliegen. Mein Job ist es, da zu sein, bevor der Moment vorbei ist. Damit ihr ihn immer wieder erleben könnt. Ich weiß genau, wo ich stehen muss, wenn das Licht kommt. Ich gebe euch den Rahmen, ihr füllt ihn mit Leben. Das ist mein Anspruch für 2026: Echte, gewaltige Erinnerungen, kuratiert mit einem Auge für zeitlose Ästhetik. It is precisely these seconds that fly by so quickly on a wedding day. My job is to be there before the moment is over. So that you can relive it again and again. I know exactly where to stand when the light comes. I give you the frame, you fill it with life. That is my goal for 2026: genuine, powerful memories, curated with an eye for timeless aesthetics. Stille schärft den Blick. Wenn die Seeadler über dem zugefrorenen Peenestrom ihre Kreise ziehen, scheint die Zeit für einen Moment stillzustehen. Keine Hektik. Nur Fokus. Der Naturhafen Krummin ist seit Jahren mehr als nur ein geschätzter Kunde. Er ist unser familiärer Anker. Er ist unser Rückzugsort auf den schwimmenden Suiten. Zwischen der Wärme der Sauna und der klirrenden Kälte des Eises passiert das Wichtigste für meine Arbeit: das Herunterfahren. Um im Sommer die schnellen, lauten Momente einer Hochzeit festzuhalten, brauche ich im Winter die Geduld eines Beobachters. Hier lerne ich wieder, genau hinzusehen. Wie der Adler. Ruhig. Präzise. Wach. Frozen Silence. Nordic focus. —— Silence sharpens the gaze. When sea eagles circle above the frozen Peene River, time seems to stand still for a moment. No hustle and bustle. Just focus. For years, the natural harbor of Krummin has been more than just a valued customer. It is our family anchor. It is our retreat on the floating suites. Between the warmth of the sauna and the bitter cold of the ice, the most important thing for my work happens: winding down. In order to capture the fast-paced, loud moments of a wedding in summer, I need the patience of an observer in winter. Here, I learn to look closely again. Like the eagle. Calm. Precise. Alert. Frozen Silence. Nordic focus.
Laura & Jack. Berlin state of mind. Für dieses Engagement-Shooting sind wir quer durch die Stadt gezogen. Von Spot zu Spot, mit viel Zeit und guten Gesprächen. Die meisten Paare haben am Anfang Respekt vor der großen Kamera. Das ist völlig normal. Meine wichtigste Aufgabe war es deshalb nicht, das Licht zu setzen, sondern die Kamera in den Hintergrund rücken zu lassen. Wenn die Gedanken ans „Fotografiertwerden“ verschwinden, entsteht Raum für echte Momente. Aus Unsicherheit wurde Vertrauen. Und aus Anspannung wurde diese absolut entspannte Atmosphäre. Laura und Jack heiraten dieses Jahr. Dieser Tag in Berlin war der perfekte Start. Urban. Modern. Ready. Ich freue mich riesig darauf, eure Hochzeit dieses Jahr zu fotografieren. —— Laura & Jack. Berlin State of Mind. For this engagement shoot, we walked across the city. From spot to spot, with plenty of time and good conversation. Most couples are initially intimidated by the big camera. That’s completely normal. So my most important task was not to set the lighting, but to let the camera fade into the background. When thoughts of “being photographed” disappear, there is room for real moments. Uncertainty turned into trust. And tension turned into this absolutely relaxed atmosphere. Laura and Jack are getting married this year. This day in Berlin was the perfect start. Urban. Modern. Ready. I am really looking forward to photographing your wedding this year.
Details sind von entscheidender Bedeutung. Wenn die Torte gegessen, die Blumen verwelkt und die Musik verklungen ist, bleiben genau diese Dinge als physische Erinnerung zurück: Die Ringe. Der Schmuck. Die Erbstücke. Ich gebe diesen „Assets” bewusst Raum. Nicht als Lückenfüller im Album, sondern als wertvolle Anker eurer Geschichte. Egal, ob in der reduzierten Form von Schwarz-Weiß oder im warmen Glanz der Realität – mein Anspruch ist Präzision. „Quiet Luxury” bedeutet für mich, den Dingen den Wert beizumessen, den sie verdienen. Zeitlos. Wertig. Für die Ewigkeit. —— Details are crucial. When the cake has been eaten, the flowers have wilted, and the music has faded away, these are the things that remain as physical reminders: the rings. The jewelry. The heirlooms. I consciously give these “assets” space. Not as fillers in the album, but as valuable anchors of your story. Whether in the reduced form of black and white or in the warm glow of reality—my claim is precision. For me, “quiet luxury” means giving things the value they deserve. Timeless. Valuable. For eternity.
Technik ist das Fundament. Emotionen sind das Ziel. Dieses Bild ist der Grund, warum ich fotografiere. Die Mutter der Braut ist eine beeindruckend starke Frau, die selten Tränen gezeigt hat. In diesem Moment, während der Rede, konnte sie nicht anders. Die Braut sagte mir später, wie viel ihr dieses eine Foto bedeutet. Es ist die „unposed“ Wahrheit. Keine Anweisung der Welt könnte diese Intensität künstlich erzeugen. Wer Licht versteht, weiß auch, wann er den Finger vom Auslöser lassen und wann er genau diesen einen, flüchtigen Moment festhalten muss. Eine Träne, die eigentlich enorme Stärke bedeutet. Refined, but real. Denn Perfektion ohne Gefühl ist am Ende nur eine leere Hülle. —— Technique is the foundation. Emotions are the goal. This image is the reason why I take photographs. The bride’s mother is an impressively strong woman who rarely shows her tears. At this moment, during the speech, she couldn’t help herself. The bride later told me how much this one photo means to her. It is the “unposed” truth. No instruction in the world could artificially create this intensity. Those who understand light also know when to take their finger off the shutter button and when to capture this one fleeting moment. A tear that actually signifies enormous strength. Refined, but real. Because perfection without emotion is ultimately just an empty shell.
Symmetrie ist kein Zufall. Es ist eine Entscheidung. Dieses Bild aus der Orangerie von Schloss Freudenstein in Südtirol zeigt, wie ich Räume „lese”. Meine Ausbildung zum 3D-Artist hat mich gelehrt, Licht und Geometrie physikalisch zu verstehen. Noch bevor die Kamera vor meinem Auge ist, scanne ich eine Location nach Linien, Reflexionen und Lichtwerten. In der Postproduktion nutze ich dieses Wissen nicht für künstliche Effekte, sondern für absolute Präzision. Das Ergebnis ist dieser Look: aufgeräumt. Klar. Hochwertig. Es ist ein Bild, das Ruhe ausstrahlt, obwohl es in einem hochdynamischen Moment entstanden ist. „Quiet Luxury” bedeutet für mich, die Perfektion im Hintergrund zu beherrschen, damit die Emotion im Vordergrund wirken kann. —— Symmetry is not a coincidence. It is a decision. This image from the orangery at Freudenstein Castle in South Tyrol shows how I “read” spaces. My training as a 3D artist taught me to understand light and geometry physically. Even before the camera is in front of my eye, I scan a location for lines, reflections, and light values. In post-production, I use this knowledge not for artificial effects, but for absolute precision. The result is this look: tidy. Clear. High-quality. It is an image that radiates calm, even though it was taken in a highly dynamic moment. For me, “quiet luxury” means mastering perfection in the background so that emotion can take center stage.
Taupo, New Zealand, 2010: My first and only skydive. The feeling? Indescribable. But what has stayed with me to this day is the realization that sometimes you have to relinquish control completely in order to gain a whole new perspective on the world. Once you’ve fallen from 15,000 feet, nothing can faze you. This composure is my most important tool today. When things get hectic on a wedding day, I remain the anchor. I’ve learned to take each moment as it comes—unfiltered and intense.
